February 24, March 3, 10, 17, 24, 2010: This is a 5 week study series leading to Lent, studying the “Song of Faith”, the United Church Statement of Faith that embraces the present spirit of the church in a poetic and memorable style. Discussions and contemplations follow a video series and guests from different faith traditions are invited to enter a conversation about portions of the “Song of Faith”.

Above is a photo of our dear Laura Bracco at an Evensong worship of remembrance, an annual gathering around All Souls Day (or Day of the Dead in Mexico). Names are written of those who have passed and their lives are spoken about. This woven willow catcher was created by Val Knowlden and has been used for this service for several years. The names and memories woven throughout are held in a web of care and love.
